I want to buy a piece of jewellery, how do I do this?

You can select an item from our online e-commerce portal. Click on the ADD TO SHOPPING BAG button and follow the checkout process to complete the order. You order shall be confirmed only after you successfully complete the payment procedures. Currently we ship across the world except France.

I am new in Dubai; how do I find the Cara Jewellers showroom?

Firstly, a warm welcome to Dubai! The Cara Jewellers showroom is located inside the Gold and Diamond Park. Cara Jewellers takes care to provide the utmost comfort to its customers and offers a pick and drop service across UAE managed by its efficient Logistics Department. Call us on +971 4 347 8089 to schedule your appointment and provide us your details like your name, date of visit, convenient time, contact number, address for pickup, no. of passengers etc. Our pick and drop service will take care of your transport needs.

You can also register on our Cara App (available on Google Playstore and Apple AppStore) and call us for free via the app.

Can I buy from you if I live outside Dubai?

Of course, we proudly ship worldwide! Visit our e-commerce portal and select the jewellery you desire. Click on the ADD TO SHOPPING BAG button and follow the checkout process to complete the order. You order shall be confirmed only after you successfully complete the payment procedures. Currently we ship across the world except France.

Additional duties may apply country-wise. We will confirm these with you before shipping. Based on your requirements, you can choose out of our extensive jewellery inventory. In case we do not have your dream jewellery-piece in our ready stock, we can customize it especially for you from our bespoke design service

How does the Cara Jewellers service work?

Based on your requirements, you can choose out of our extensive jewellery inventory. In case we do not have your dream jewellery-piece in our ready stock, we can customize it especially for you from our bespoke design service.

What is this bespoke design service?

Cara Jewellers offers a bespoke design service for all its customers. It begins with a personalised consultation with a Cara Jewellery Expert to discuss your requirements, occasion, preferences, price point, the delivery date and other necessary details. As per the discussion, an experienced jewellery designer shall share a 3D rendering of your desired piece using the latest imaging technology, along with a quotation, within 1-3 days, for a review.

Post modifications according to your feedback, a 3D model would be printed using our state-of-the-art 3D printer which will also serve as a mould for the final piece. We will then advise you on choosing the right diamond or gemstone with as little or as much guidance as you need.

Once you are satisfied with the final design, we will manufacture your jewellery piece and notify you. You can either collect it from one of our showrooms or we can deliver it to you, as per your convenience.

How quickly can you create and deliver a custom piece?

Cara Jewellers prides itself on its speediness. The entire process of jewellery creation takes anywhere between 1 to 10 days depending on the complexity of the design and the availability of the materials. Quality customer service and prompt delivery are our forte.

Can I upgrade or exchange my diamond jewellery in the future?

Absolutely! Bring your jewellery purchased from Cara Jewellers alongwith the Official Receipt and Certificate. Post valuation, you may exchange it for another jewellery and pay the price difference if any.

What other post-sales services do you provide?

Cara Jewellers ensures customer-satisfaction even after sales. We offer lifetime free cleaning and polishing of your jewellery. If required, jewellery re-setting is also undertaken.

Do you offer a rush-order service?

Yes! For most designs, we can provide a rush-order service, which will guarantee you receive your jewellery within 2 working days. This service varies in price depending on the style of your jewellery. Contact Us

Are there any limits to what you can design and create?

With an expertise spanning over two decades, Cara Jewellers can create any design! However, care is taken to ensure your jewellery stands the test of time.

Can you find me any colour and size diamond or gemstone?

Yes! We have an extensive inventory of diamond and gemstones also where you can find almost any cut, colour, clarity or carat of diamonds and coloured-gemstones.

Are the sizes and colours of products shown on the website accurate?

While we have made every effort to display the size and colours of the products appear as accurately as possible on the site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen's display of any colour will be completely accurate, as colours on many computer-monitors and screens of electronic devices vary. Size of some products may also vary from the actual product or as displayed on the website.

Can I use my own diamond or coloured gemstone?

Sure! We can create mounts for your loose diamonds and gemstones. We also provide certifications for your gemstones from GIA at extra cost.

Can I remove or swap one gemstone or diamond for another?

Ofcourse! Cara Jewellers has a ready inventory of loose diamonds and gemstones that you can choose from as per your preferences.

Which metals does Cara Jewellers recommend?

We work with gold in 18 Karat white, yellow and rose gold. We also make jewellery in 950- Platinum alloy.

Can I combine two or more different metals in a design?

Yes, we can combine all three shades of gold in any combination you desire.

How are the jewels packaged?

Our packaging perfectly complements your bespoke jewels. Your jewellery will be sent or given to you in a beautiful and sturdy jewellery box that is lined with soft fabric that ensures safety from scratches. We also provide a soft cloth that we recommend for cleaning your jewellery.

Can I combine two or more different metals in a design?

Yes, we can combine all three shades of gold in any combination you desire.

Where do your diamonds come from?

We buy cut and polished diamonds directly from reputable and trusted companies to ensure our customers get ethical diamonds in the quality you deserve, for the right price.

What are the 4Cs?

The 4Cs represent the four main characteristics of diamonds- Cut, Colour, Carat and Clarity; that are most commonly used to grade and categorize them. jewellery

How can I be sure I am receiving the actual diamond I have paid for?

We provide a unique International Certification (GIA, HRD, IGI, etc) for diamonds above 30 cents that specifies the stone’s inherent characteristics. All diamond jewellery pieces also come with a Cara Jewellers certificate with a product code and exact details of the jewellery.

What types of gemstones and diamonds do you offer?

We usually offer diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires gemstones in the jewellery. We also have a wide range of coloured-diamonds and other coloured-gemstones as well. What is the difference between precious and semi-precious gemstones?

Depending on the quality and rarity of the gemstones, they are classified as precious and semi-precious gemstones. Diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds are precious stones. All other gemstones are termed as semi-precious. This distinction, however, does not affect their price, as certain semi-precious stones can be more expensive than lower quality precious stones.

Can I have my damaged/worn stone made to look new again?

Do your prices change often and how long are quotes valid for?

Our prices are updated monthly to reflect changes in global metal and diamond prices. Any quote sent to you by a Cara Jewellers representative is valid for 14 days. Last minute prices may vary during booking time.

Returns, Shipping, Taxes & Cancellations

Do you ship internationally?

Of course, Cara Jewellers offers shipping to all countries of the world except France.

How will the parcel be delivered?

All shipped orders are fully insured and tracked using renowned and safe global courier services. The shipping can be tracked on our ecommerce website.

Will the delivery be insured?

Yes, we insure all orders before shipping.

Can you ship to an alternative address?

Unfortunately, we only ship your order to the shipping address. However, to avoid inconvenience, before shipping, we confirm your availability at the address provided

What is your return policy?

Our return policies are as follows:

  • Exchange or upgrade the jewellery item purchased. Customer can exchange the same within 30 days on presentation of Original Purchase Invoice and paying the differential amount, if any. Company has no policy of granting cash refund.
  • Gold jewellery can be exchanged either for gold jewellery or diamond jewellery. Diamond jewellery can be exchanged for diamond jewellery.
  • Damaged/soiled jewellery, customized jewellery and jewellery without Original Purchase Invoice may not be accepted for exchange.
  • Used jewellery item can be exchanged subject to quality confirmation by Cara Jewellers. Cara Jewellers reserves right to calculate the exchange value of the jewellery depending upon the evaluation and prevailing market value after deduction of manufacturing costs.
  • The risk of loss or damage to jewellery/diamond passes to customer upon delivery of jewellery/diamond item. Ownership in all goods remains with Cara Jewellers until full payment of all amounts due have been received. Customer will be responsible for safe custody and insurance of jewellery in his/her possession.
  • Quality certificate is based on the internal quality appraisal by Cara Jewellers.
  • Jewellery can be exchanged only within the same country of purchase.

Can I claim back VAT?

The UAE government applies 5% VAT on jewellery items from 1 January 2018. VAT refund is available as per prevalent UAE VAT laws. For more details refer to website www.tax.gov.ar

Aftercare

Do you offer aftercare services?

We offer the following complimentary aftercare services with every jewellery-piece that you buy from Cara:

  • Free re-sizing in case your fingers size has increased or decreased.
  • Free polish and clean up to take care of the signs of wear.
  • Re-setting a stone and other repairing are chargeable at our discretion.
